Evils of Smoking!

The habit of smoking is prevalent throughout the world.Even the teen-agers are addicted to this habit.But it is very bad habit.It is injurious to health.But those who become addicted to it cannot easily give up.

The Game Of Cricket

Cricket is a very famous outdoor games.It Is a bat and ball game.Sir Neville Cardus , the greatest writer on cricket has called it "the gentlemen`s game".He also compared it with life. In life there are many ups and downs.Soit is happen in cricket too.
The game is played between 2 teams .Each team has eleven players .The game is played in an open and plain field.Two sets of wickets are pitched in the ground 22 yards apart .One team fields and the other bats .Three fielding men are placed on one side.Six are put on the off side.The remaining two, one is the bowler and the other is the wicket-keeper.

An umpire conducts the game.With the whistle of the umpire the game begins.One bowler and one batsman take their position near wickets .The bowler tries to hit the opposite wickets with the ball.The batsman do his best to stop the ball.If he can hits the ball off, he runs to the wickets opposite to him.He goes to on running until the ball reach the bowler.The fielders of the opposite team run to the ball as swiftly as they can and send the ball the bowler.This is done to prevent the batsman from scoring runs.The batsman may be out in many ways .Such as, bowled out,run out , stumped out, caught out, leg-before wicket out and hit-wicket out.
The cricket is a healthy game.It makes the player hardy ,active and prompt .It improves the limbs a and muscles of the body.It also teaches the players perseverance,patience and obedience.It forms team, work spirit among the players.

A Journey By Air

Science has made wonderful progress in all possible ways.Now men can fly like birds in the air.A trip by air is really interesting and thrilling.
This rare opportunity ,however, came to me when i was merely 15 years old.My elder brothers working at cardiff,uk. He invited us to visit him.My parents decided to take me with them .Hearing about their decision my other brothers and sisters became jealous of me and i was feeling both unhappy and happy.I was feeling as good as i would feel during the Eid .He sent us tickets of plane .
We reached the airport in time.The officers of the airport prepared all the necessary formalities.Then they allowed us to go inside the plane was ready to take off.We got into the plane.I had my seat beside a window .In order to attain force and speed at first the plane moved along the ground on its wheels and in a few minutes,it flew into the air.

The plane was flying very smoothly.We passed over rivers towns and roads,I was really amazed with to find scene below.The boats in the rivers and the cars in the streets seemed to be moving toys.A man appeared like a doll.The land appeared to be a garden.An airhostess came.She gave tiffin to the passengers.She was amiable.As this was my first flight i fell shaken up and sick.
After 8 hours we reached ,after touching the ground it moved for a while on the wheels  .When it stopped we got down from the plane and my first trip by air came to an end.
My elder brothers was waiting at the airport.He became very glad to see us.The flight was quite comfortable and delightful to us.It will linger in my mind all through my life.

Importances of Computer.

Science has discovered many wonders and computer is one of them.It is a ultra modern electronic device for strong and analysing information fed into it.It has no capacity to do anything by itself.It works on the basis of commands given by the operator .
Computer was not invented over night.First of all Pascal invented the theory of "Digital Calculating System" in 1642.Though his attempts were not crowned with success, he initiated the research which payed the way to the invention of computer.Finally Mr.Haward Akin an American scientist invented such a machine in 1937 that could do difficult sums.So the credit for the invention of modern computer goes to Haward Akin.After seven years electric computer was used in Harvard University in 1944.After that many other computers have been invented such as EDSAC in 1945 and ENTANCE in 1946 etc.
A computer consists of five major components.They are the input ,the output,the memory unit,the control unit and the arithmatic  unit.
A computer performs three functions ; 
1. It receives data
2.  It processes data by various computations
3. Its emits data.
Every computer has a machine language  of its own and accordingly a computer functions.Machine language is not fixed.It varies from machine to machine.Programmes  written in machine languages are machine dependent and they are only good for particular machine.
Computer is of great use to us .It  renders great service to mankind.It is like Aladin`s magic lamp or magic wand .It has lessened our work loads and made our life easy and comfortable .It is used in our daily life for various purpose.

Short Description Of Football Game

There are many out door and indoor games in the world.The football game is an out door game.I like football game most among the out door games.It is now a very popular game.In almost very school and village there is a football team.
It is played on a large  field 110 to 120 yards,long and 70 to 80 yards wide.There are two posts at each of the two opposite ends of the field.They are eight yards apart and have a bar on them.The bar is eight feet above the ground.
The football is played between two parties of eleven players on every side.There are two backs,one goal keeper,five forwards, and three half backs on each side.A ball is putted at the centre of the field .No player on either side except the two goal keepers can touch the ball with their hands.The referee who guides the game and blows a whistle and play begins .The full game is divided into two equal portion with an interval of 10 to 15 minutes between them.The sides are changed after interval .Both sides try their best to defeat the other.

It is played by obeying some rules.Every player must abide by those rules.The decision of the referee is final in all the matters on the field.Of course ,there can be made a protest against the decision of the referee to the game committe after the game is over.
 Every player by obeying the referee`s whistle and the lineman`s flag accustoms himself to discipline of the game.As football is a game of 4s`s : stamina ,speed,shooting and skill,it makes the players balanced ,smart and hardy.On the other hand,it fosters the spirit of co-ordination,group-loyalty,team-spirit,orderly behaviour and the art of leadership.
In spite of the risk of sudden injury of fracture of legs,i like it most and play it regularly..

 Travelling has more indirect lessons to teach us.The man who lives in a village is not the same man after he has visited the town.His mind become riched ,his outlook broadened ,he learns that that the world is a much bigger place than his village.The wider he travels the greater he learns.He will shed his prejudice quicker,he will able to take new ideas more promptly ,he will be less arrogant about his racial or national superiority .At the same time,comparison with the others will create in him a more thoughtful appreciation of the virtues of other people.

Travelling also develops resourcefulness.In our travels we are facing with many difficulties .Language of other place,so we feel utterly helpless .Another, an expected remittance fails to arrive in time.Third ,we run short of some necessary article which can not be obtained from all the places.The traveller will be found more resourceful in devising means to overcome these.He is ready witted,quick to invent and prompt to execute .These lessons are much greater than learning from more work.
 In order to get benefit by travelling we must learn to avoid certain pitfalls .The man who does much travelled has a tendency to be a great gossip.He often tries to draw attention by exaggerative in his deeds ,by his advertising .The traveller must learn to value of truth .He is a teacher and he can educate others out of his knowledge and experience.

Another great virtue which sports help us to acquire  is the will to win.Life is struggle ,a constant fight against difficulties,against adversities ,against disappointments.The weak willed man resigns himself to his fate,because he has not the will to victory A sportsman takes victory and defeats as a true part of the game .The true sportsman also know the value of team sprit.
